Daniel Thomas’ status for Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders appears to be in jeopardy because of the concussion the Dolphins tailback suffered in the season-opening loss to Houston. Thomas, who gained 11 yards on three carries as well as a 32-yard reception, fumbled after being knocked groggy by Texans free safety Glover Quin on a 1-yard carry with 35 seconds left before halftime of Sunday's 30-10 loss. He didn’t return to the game because of what the Dolphins labeled a head injury. Thomas appears to have suffered a concussion and must pass the NFL’s baseline concussion test before he’ll be allowed to return to practice. Source: Sun Sentinel
