Dolphins rookie tight end Dion Sims, the fourth-round pick from Michigan State, has signed his contract with the team, the Dolphins announced Friday. Sims, the 106th selection, will receive a contract similar to fellow fourth-round pick linebacker Jelani Jenkins ($2.57 million value, $472,000 signing bonus), the 104th pick, based on the rookie salary scale. The Dolphins expect Sims to be a contributor this season. He’ll be competing for playing time with fellow tight ends Dustin Keller, Charles Clay and Michael Egnew. Source: Sun Sentinel
