With Tuesday's June 1 deadline looming, tight end Anthony Fasano had yet to sign his tender, but that seemed to be a formality in light of the Dolphins' decision not to spend a draft choice on a tight end in a year chock-full of them. Fasano says he wants to remain in Miami in 2010. "I hope so," Fasano said during a recent Dolphins charity appearance. "I want to be a part of what we have going here." He received an original-rounder tender at $1.176 million from the Dolphins — up from the $535,000 he made last year — but no team seemed interested in giving up the second-round pick (along with a long-term contract) it would have taken to pry him away.
