In what might be the no-brainer pick of the year, the NFL has named Dolphins wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the games of Nov. 1-2. Ginn, of course, became the first player in NFL history to return two kickoffs of 100 yards or more in the same game in Sunday’s 30-25 victory over the New York Jets at Giants Stadium. That made him the first player to return two kickoffs in one game for TDs since Green Bay’s Travis Williams accomplished the feat Nov. 12, 1967 against Cleveland. Source: Palm Beach Post
So what's the big deal about 2 TD returns of 100 yds or more? Now 3 would have been impressive. He's still got a half a season to do it and I wouldn't bet against him.
