Doug Martin

I have Martin in a non-PPR league. It looks like he's a bad play this week if he goes at all. I have on my bench Bradshaw (vs. PHI), Ivory (vs. GB), Sankey (vs. DAL) and also available is Asiata (vs. NE). What would you do in Martin's presumed absence? If you would go with Asaita which of my backs would be best to drop?




(No PPR): 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 FLEX, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
Passing: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/25 yds,
Rushing & Receiving: 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/10 yds

 

Okay, Asiago has been claimed. The only other available RBs that could be an upgrade from my bench three (above) are Crowell (vs NO), and J. Rodgers (vs. CIN).

If it's Martin OR those other guys, go with Martin. They say he is still expected to play.

 

Kust says Martin "unlikely" to play. The timing is good (for once). Would you use Ivory or Bradshaw if he's out??

 

Now I hear he's not playing and I picked up Rainey. Would you play him over Bradshaw or Ivory??

I would go Ivory. I'm not high on Bradshaw just yet, especially this week.

 

So, Ivory over Rainey??

 

I still say yes. They have a solid run stopping defense, especially after last week.
