Falcons Release RB Michael Turner

    The Falcons have released Michael Turner on Friday, ending a five-year stint with the team. Turner had his worst season with Atlanta in 2012, posting a poor 3.6 rushing yard average across 222 carries, good for 800 yards, but with 10 rushing touchdowns. He scored double-digit touchdowns every season for the Falcons but his production waned beginning toward the end of the 2011 season.

    Heard he failed a physical. Might have to wait to see what happens.
