Freddie Roach the world famous professional boxing training savant tells SI.com that WAMMA Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko lacks technique when it comes to his stand up game. He says what the Russian cyborg lacks in that department he makes up for with his accuracy and aggressiveness (see Sylvia, Tim for the most recent example.) Roach's opinion is too respected for me to disagree with. Technically, Roach is correct. However, serious boxing/technical stand up in MMA is a defecit b/c it puts a fighter in a position where they can be taken down or kicked with much more ease. Arlovski has enough of the tools to give Fedor a run, but we'll see what kind of chin, heart, aggressiveness and sub defense he shows when they fight.
