Final thoughts on the season

The NFL calendar is officially over yet here we are again… talking about football.

To finally put this season to rest, I thought I’d generate some discussion on the good and bad that was this football season, the pleasant surprises and the outright busts. And don’t think I’ve forgotten we have an all new winner for our annual over/under contest.

But first… the good.

And yea, Teej, it was a tough one on the over/unders which is why I don't bet 'em.

How many people had the Jags and Rams sucking?

 

I thought the Rams would be improved, but not to the extent they were. I totally figured the Jags would have a losing record.

 

Bucs destroyed the Jags in pre-season.

So much for that.

 

That's why preseason doesn't matter, but we're so excited by august that we don't care, or don't remember.

2008 Lions went 4-0 in preseason, or so the legend says...(too lazy to google it, I kind of remembered).

 

2017 was a so, so season IMO.
