Five Teams That Could Break Through In 2007

That's what someone says every year though ;)

 

Even if Portis goes down we still have a good running game as Betts proved last year

 

Portis is the freaking man though, y'all dont want him going down again.

 

As an Eagles fan, Betts has scared me much more than Portis.

 

Lions are doing jack.

 

I've seen you ask this before and would love to know why you think that?

 

He's had some pretty good games against the Eagles, such as the 171 yard performance last year. Portis isn't the same player that he used to be with Denver. The five game stretch that Betts had replacing him last year might have been better than any five game stretch that Portis has had there. Or if not, damn close. Plus he seems more dangerous as a receiver as well.

If you disagree, you're probably right since you watch them both I lot more than I do. But you still must feel pretty good to have that type of player behind Portis.

1) 49ers - Something about them.
2) Bengals - If off field issues are avioded.
3) Steelers - As long as Big Ben aviods his bike.
4) Cards - It got to happen haven't it?
5) Skins - There hope I think

 

Reasons why we could break through,

Secondary was awful last year but shoud limprove with the free-agent signings (Fred Smoot, David Mackline etc) and Laron Landry. This should lead to the QB having to hold the ball longer which should enable us to get more pressure.

Our Offense has many weapons and if JC can play at a good level we will score a fair few points - Big question here is JC and how well he will play.

We finally seem to have a decent kicker in Suisham
