http://nfl.aolsportsblog.com/2007/04/05/former-seahawk-ram-grant-wistrom-retires/ Grant Wistrom, a free agent defensive end who didn't have many suitors this off-season, has decided retire, according to NFL Network. Wistrom played the first six years of his career with the Rams and the last three with the Seahawks, notching 53 sacks in his career. He had a pretty decent career. Time to hang it up.
I liked how he played but you could tell he had hit the wall a couple years back. He didn't really produce like they thought he would once he got there. At least he's hanging them up and leaving on his terms, not the doctors.
Not short of money, had some very goof highs in his career, why battle through another camp in a new city when you don't need the money. Good luck to him.
