Marcus Trufant will retire with the Seattle Seahawks. The former Seattle cornerback will sign a one-day contract with the team so he can officially announce his retirement on Thursday. Trufant will hold a news conference Thursday at 2 p.m. ET at the Seahawks facility to announce his retirement. Trufant, 33, is a Tacoma native who was a first-round pick by the team in 2003 out of Washington State. He spent his entire career with the Seahawks before signing a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars last offseason. He was released in the final preseason cuts. Source: ESPN
