New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will need a fourth surgery on his broken forearm, according to the Boston Herald. The latest procedure will be to place a new plate around the forearm in order to help with the healing process. Gronkowski broke the forearm last season, then returned for the playoffs and re-broke the forearm early in the game. He had a third surgery due to an infection in the forearm. Doctors are now using antiobiotics to try and flush out the remaining infection from the tissue, but the report indicates a fourth surgery to change the plate is inevitable and a fifth surgery not out of the question. And. Possible fifth if there is an infection in the bone and one doctor said if that's the case he could miss the year... Could be some regret coming for letting Wes Welker "walk..."
yep, and he seems to be laying low and actually trying to get better so now it makes you wonder if his body just isn't very good at healing itself ...........
