There are certain colleges that you think you always think of the great players they have had at a position. Like Penn State and LBers and Miami and QBs. So when you think of great QB what team comes first into your mind. Not just a current or past player but a team you always think of having a good QB.

Cowboys - Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, Danny White, Tony Romo, Craig Morton, Don Meredith.

Giants - Phil Simms, Frank Tarkenton, YA Tittle, Benny Friedman, Arnie Hereber, Elie Manning

Redskins - Sammy Baugh, Sunny Jurgensen, Billy Kitmer, Eddie LaBarron, Mark Rypien, Joe Theisman

Packers - Brett Farve, Bart Starr, Arnie Herber, Lynn twinkyey

49ers - Joe Montana, Steve Young, Y.A. Tittle

Rams - Kurt Warner, Jim Evertt, Roman Gabiel, Norm Van Brocklin, Bob Waterfield

Dolphins - Dan Marino, Bob Greise

Bengals - Carlson Palmer, Boomer Esiason, Ken Anderson

Colts - Johnny Unitas, Earl Moral, Peyton Manning

If I left a QB off the list that needs to be on there let me know. Also if you know a team I left off post them and their QBs

It's hard to go against teams like the Boys and 9ers because of the 5 rings. But I went homer simply because of the perfect season and Marino not having much help.

    **********Automerged Doublepost**********

Also I would add Pennington just because he set the record for fewest team turnovers.

  3. Crowned

    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

Niners, Young + Montana, comeon... Didn't hurt my decision that Tittle was a Tiger (Heauxmer)

    man o man, tough choice

Im gonna go with the Colts however because of there top 2 may be the best top 2 any franchise has had, even SF and Green Bay

    Daddy Primetime42 TheNationWillRiseAgain

Daryle Lamonica, Kenny Stabler, Jim PLunkett, Rich Gannon I mean if you have the Ram QBS the Raider QBS should be there too they won way more titles.

Before I decided what teams I decided no matter what I would not put more than 10 up there, but I would have the other vote. The Raiders were one of the last three teams that I cut, the lack of HOFers hurt their case. Also the time between the Plunkett and Gannon had it ups and downs that did not help them.

  8. DoubleC

    DoubleC i'm ready now...

The Colts have a case but so much time between Unitas and Manning. When I think of them, I don't even think "same franchise", though it is.

    Anyway, vote 49ers!

    86WARD -

    Colts had Bert Jones!!

    I gotta go Niners...

  10. ollysj

    ollysj iKraut

    I would say 49ers

Lynn twinkyey? He played before I started to follow football, but I don't think he was a real great QB

The Raiders sorta get screwed around by the HOF in my opinion, Stabler and Cliff Branch should both definitely be in the Hall. The Raiders definitely had some decent quarterbacks.

With that said, I homered up and voted 9ers. John Brodie's also worthy to add to your list, IMO.

  12. theeraser21

    theeraser21 u r a slapdick

the Colts also had Y.A Tittle, when he was good.

Colts, Boys, and 49ers are the Only teams who can talk.

I think I'll go with the Cowboys. Was there a time when they didnt have a damn good QB? Out of all those teams they seem to be one of the few that have about every time period covered.

  14. TJ

    TJ Dez Caught It

Well, except for the immortal Quincy Carter era, we've had a pretty good QB in every decade, so I went homer :icon_cheesygrin:

Montana and Young End of discussion in my opinion.

I would take out the Bengals from the poll, and replace them with the Raiders, though.

  17. DawkinsINT

    DawkinsINT Tebow free since 9/5/2015.

Tough call between a few teams, but I went with the 49ers also.

  18. Harvs01

    Harvs01 Pro Bowler

SF got my vote, tough to argue with Montana and Young

  19. 86WARD

    86WARD -

    Terry Bradshaw - 4 Rings

    Ben Roethlisberger - 2 Rings

Joe Gilliam - Paving the road for the "Black QB."

Bobby Layne - Hall of Fame QB

Kordell Stewart - Paving the road for the "wildcat offense."

Bubby Brister - Paving the road for "Donovan's Mom."
