Safety Aaron Rouse has been claimed off waivers by the New York Giants, announced his agent Alvin Keels via his Twitter account. Rouse was surprisingly waived by the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday to make room for Matt Girodano. It could be that the Giants are concerned about a knee injury that is plaguing safety Kenny Phillips.

    Thanks?

While he has been banged up it seems he was released as much for his play as he was for injuries. The guy can tackle, but his coverage skills are lacking.

Also, with all due respect, I'll trust that our couching staff is able to bring the best out of him over what he was able to do with the packers.
