Giants guard Chris Snee had surgery on his hip earlier this week, according to sources. Snee battled hip issues for much of the 2012 season, playing through a torn labrum and bone chips in his hip. Still, the 31-year-old guard made his fourth Pro Bowl, and he played in the NFL's all-star game in Hawaii before having surgery earlier this week. A source said Snee's surgery went "well." The recovery and rehab time after a hip surgery, depending on the type of surgery, can sometimes take as long as 6-8 months, although no timetable for Snee's return has been set.
