I am opening up the forums to add 1-2 new mods to each section (Football, Off Topic, VIP) of the site to help out. I have setup a new application system to review all potential candidates. Candidates would have to meet these requirements: Be A Forum Regular Have Been At The Forum For At Least Six (6) Months AND have VIP status Have A Positive Presence on GridironFans.com Be Proactive * Please Note - I am flexible with these requirements on a case by case basis, contact me for more info Moderators should be knowledgeable in the topic they would like to moderate. They should be helpful towards other members and give advice whenever needed and whenever possible. Moderators should visit the forum each day, actively take part in discussions as often as possible, ideally once a day, setting a good example to the other members. They should also take an active part in discussions between Moderators relating to the running of the forum. Moderators have a responsibility to keep unsuitable content out of the forums as much as possible. Moderators should frequently encourage member participation in their forum, both by posting in existing threads and starting new ones. Applicants will be required to PM me this application back with their answers: The application will then be posted in the staff forum and the site staff would vote. A member would need 6 "Yes" votes out of 9 current staff members to be considered. Once a member is approved he will be put on board as a moderator for a 30 day trial period. After the 30 days the site's staff will again vote to keep the member on as a permanent mod.
November, December, January, February, March, April, May... That's more than 6 months! Sign me up, I haven't been active as much as usual the past few weeks, give me three more weeks and I'll be whoring like I used to so there'd be no worries of me not visiting often enough. I still visit daily now anyway, just don't post as much. I'll fill in that application form right now.
It wouldn't hurt you to apply. You never know what might happen. This being your sixth month might be enough.
