Left tackle Jeff Backus, who extended his consecutive starts streak to 186 games, was knocked out of the game in the second quarter by a hamstring injury.

He did not return for the second half.

    Rookie Riley Reiff replaced him.

With the Thanksgiving Day game looming Thursday, Backus' streak, which is the longest in team history, could be in jeopardy.

His 186 games played is fourth on the Lions' all-time list as he passed twinky LeBeau on Sunday.
