Will JaMarcus Russell prove to be the real thing?

Can McFadden run in the NFL?

Was Al Davis' spending spree money well spent?

    Go Fargus!

    Just Win Baby!!! (7-9)?

1, I'm not totally against Russell, but he has to play under control. I think he'll be inconsistent, some moments of brilliance, some struggles.

2, McFadden concerns me, the fact he struggles to break tackles is going to be tough to get over if it continues in the NFL. At the same time, I expect him to make some hughlight reel plays with his moves and speed.

3, Javon Walker? Harris at LT? Gibril Wilson? No, it's not money well spent IMO.

5-11 or 4-12 fot the Raiders imo. Not high at all on Jamarcus, Mcfadden can run and should be OK long term and Al Davis NEVER spends money wisely. That is all.

    K Train Do You Honeycutt?

jamarcus....meh, not gonna say bust but im gonna say epic reach.

mcfadden....vastly overrated but at the same down bashed sooooo much by people who were riding his rod pre-07. He will do fine, but michael bush will do better

money well spent.....laughable, dhall was the best pickup but failing to sign nnamdi was stupid

    I think they'll win 6-7, it'll be a slow start though.

    1. Maybe the day Russell leaves Oakland.
    2. MAYBE
    3. I can see this spending spree coming back to bite Davis in the butt.

Until the Raiders prove me wrong, I see another 4-12 or 5-11 season in 2008 for them.

haha thanks. DMAC looked pretty good in his first preseason game though. i was not impressed with JaMarcus at all and the niners run d looks pretty pathetic i don't know if willis is playing or not though

No to Jmac, don't see him being that special, he has a great arm, but that only takes you so far.

Probably for McFadden, Raiders was a solid run blocking team last season. Not sure if he'll live up to the hype.

Is his spending sprees ever well spent? Raider fans get all excited over them then they end up being flops. I don't see that changing this season, Walker is a perfect example.

7-9 probably not but I think they'll be better, maybe even finish 3rd in the West this season.

    Russell, Possibly.. but doubtful.
    Mcfadden, Yes.
Money Well Spent? It wasnt spent well, but has its high points in Dhall and Gibril Wilson. Javon way over-paid.
