Less than a day after fullback Naufahu Tahi told Mike Mularkey he would be leaving the team due to personal reasons, the Jaguars officially announced his release on Friday. His roster spot was filled by fourth-year veteran tight end Gijon Robinson. Robinson spent three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts after signing with the team in 2007 as an undrafted free agent. He played in 39 games and made 26 starts with the Colts and has 31 career receptions for 240 yards and one touchdown. Robinson spent the 2011 preseason with the Detroit Lions before being waived just before the regular season on September 3.
