Four days after he visited Jacksonville and was offered a contract, free agent receiver Mohamed Massaquoi agreed to terms with the Jaguars on Friday, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports. A former second-round draft pick from Georgia, the 26-year old Massaquoi spent the first four years of his career with the Cleveland Browns. With the Browns, Massquaoi caught 118 passes for 1,745 yards and seven touchdowns in 54 games but had only two 100-yard receiving games and never exceeded 36 catches in a season. Massaquoi wasn’t targeted by Cleveland’s new regime of general manager Mike Lombardi, coach Rob Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner even though the Browns haven’t signed a receiver in free agency. On the Jaguars’ early depth chart, Massaquoi would likely slide in behind Cecil Shorts, Justin Blackmon and Jordan Shipley. Source: The Redzone
