Marcus Dowtin, active for the first time in his career last week against the Dolphins, was fined $15,750 for a QB hit to the head on Matt Moore, according to a person with knowledge of the fine. That person requested anonymity because the NFL does not make fines public. Dowtin threw his hands up as Moore threw a pass on third-and-9 with 6:02 remaining in the third quarter and came down into Moore's facemask, which also drew a 15-yard penalty. Antonio Cromartie was not fined for a scuffle with back Reggie Bush in the first quarter where he pushed and head-butted the Dolphins running back. Source: Newark Star-Ledger
