Last week, as the Jets prepared for the Patriots on a short week and Tim Tebow dealt with a injury that he later learned was two fractured ribs, third-string quarterback Greg McElroy took no snaps at practice with the first team. His job, as it has been, was to prepare the defense for the opponent by mimicking their offense and quarterback. It will still be his role this week as he plays the part of Arizona quarterback Ryan Lindley. He will not, despite Tebow's ongoing injury, take any snaps with the Jets. "I don’t expect to, obviously," McElroy said today. "Mostly what I do during the week is prepare the defense and mostly what Arizona is going to be doing."
