There is not much information at this point as to why Jon “Bones†Jones will not be defending his title against Glover Teixeira in the main event of UFC 170 as announced yesterday by Dana White. Today Dana White announced Jon Jones would not be fighting on Feb 22nd against Teixeira. “I told you yesterday that Jones will fight on Feb. 22,†White told reporters following the UFC 167 press conference. “He won’t fight in Feb. 22. This is really odd. I don't remember seeing someone pull out of a fight that's 3 months away and it not being due to injury. Have to see what develops from this
