Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that FS LaRon Landry would not take a “hometown discount†to re-sign with the Jets this offseason. After a healthy and productive season Landry’s stock and value have gone up back to his best and the Jets will want to re-sign him. However being one of the few bright spots for the team this year, the Jets will have to pay up some serious cash if they hope to retain Landry, or he will end up playing for another team.
