Longtime GM Says 'I Would Not Have Touched WR Chad Ochocinco'

    Chad Ochocinco had very little interest around the league after he was released by the New England Patriots. There were rumors that he couldn't grasp the Patriots offense and that he had lost a step. One longtime general manager told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that Ochocinco might still have burst, but he lacks discipline at the position. “His best asset is his ability to get separation on routes,â€￾ thegeneral manager said. “But you want a disciplined receiver to be in the right spots, and that’s not what this guy is. I would not have touched him. His personality issues are not going to change. I don’t know if he’s ever going to get it.â€￾

    Personality..I don't think is the problem. Dude is actually a good guy. But his production numbers, maybe his antics on the field..are another thing.
