Martellus Bennett has let it be known that he's a happy camper here with the Giants. Whether or not the Giants make the playoffs, the chatty tight end hopes to extend his tenure with the team long past Sunday's game.

So much, in fact, that Bennett said he would at least consider taking less money to stay with the Giants.

"I could sit here and tell you I would, but it depends on what it is," Bennett said today. "You never know until the moment comes. But yeah, that is something I would do. A hometown discount? Yeah."

Bennett signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Giants as a free agent last spring. This was his first opportunity as the team's No. 1 tight end, after being situated behind Jason Witten during four seasons in Dallas. Bennett has 54 catches for 611 yards and five touchdowns with one game to play.
