The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the NFL playoffs. Continue to read for game time information and TV schedule.

Now that the Philadelphia Eagles are in the playoffs (sounds good, huh?), it's time to take a look at the NFL playoff schedule.

With a 24-22 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, the Eagles clinched the NFC East crown and the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs. Philadelphia (#3) will be facing the New Orleans Saints (#6) in the first round. The game will be held in Philadelphia on Saturday night at 8:10 PM EST.

Here is a look at the final NFL playoffs seeding:

    NFC

    1. Seattle Seahawks (13-3)

    2. Carolina Panthers (12-4)

    3. Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)

    4. Green Bay Packers (8-7-1)

    5. San Francisco 49ers (12-4)

    6. New Orleans Saints (11-5)

    AFC

    1. Denver Broncos (13-3)

    2. New England Patriots (12-4)

    3. Cincinnati Bengals (11-5)

    4. Indianapolis Colts (11-5)

    5. Kansas City Chiefs (11-5)

    6. San Diego Chargers (9-7)

Here's an outlook based on each round.

    Wild Card: January 4-5
    Divisional round: January 11-12th
    AFC/NFC Championship game: January 19th
    Super Bowl: February 2nd

The Eagles haven't been in the post-season since they faced the Green Bay Packers in the opening round during the 2010 Playoffs. Philly hasn't a won playoff game since 2008 when they made a run to the NFC Championship Game but ultimately lost to the Arizona Cardinals.

It will be a big week of preparation for this team as they prepare to take on a talented New Orleans squad at home.

    But for now... playoffs!
