According to Kareem Copeland of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers coach Mike McCarthy has finally admitted that running back James Starks suffered another ankle injury during the Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions. Starks went into the game with a knee and ankle injury and saw virtually no action in the second half of the game. McCarthy would not comment as to why the team initially tried to hide the injury from the media. Starks' status for practice this week is iffy at best but he downplayed the latest injury. “It’s nothing horrible,â€￾ “Obviously, the knee was more of a concern because I was bent up and things like that and it felt weird a certain ways, but that went away fast. For now, consider the Packers' best back questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
