Panthers linebacker Jon Beason and cornerback Chris Gamble missed practice Thursday, and coach Ron Rivera said he is “most certainly concerned†about their status. Beason has been dealing with a knee injury while Gamble aggravated a shoulder injury during Wednesday's practice. Both sat out the Week 5 loss to Seattle. The hope was that both would be ready to go following last week's bye. Rivera did not dismiss the possibility that Beason and/or Gamble could be placed on injured reserve, saying the Panthers would know more Friday. “That's tough to say, just because we'll see (Friday),†Rivera said. “Chris had come back feeling pretty good after having two weeks off basically and ran around really well (Thursday). Then came in this morning and was complaining about the stiffness and soreness that he had from a shot he took.†Source: Charlotte Observer
