Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith is out until late August with a broken arm which he suffered in an offseason flag-football game. When Peter King of SI.com asked Smith if he was sure he would be back for the opener against the Giants, Smith said, "Positive,'' he said. "I'd bet my game check on it.'' Smith also said he plans to make a beeline for Giants safety Michael Johnson early in that game. Johnson's the guy who laid the vicious hit on Smith that broke his arm -- and ended his season in Week 16 last December. "I'm going after him,'' said Smith, and he walked away. Source: SI.com
Not if KP returns for opening day.... In that case, he'll be the one to lay your butt out this time Smith....
Nice headline... a star player saying he's gunning for another player and we talk about a game check. Anyway, I like the 'other' Steve Smith, but this is just chump crap. Don't break your arm next time fool. What's this twice in like 6 months after the flag football incident? Oh, and you hecked me the 2 years I had you in fantasy football, rod.
Oh, yea, I'm sure it's a joke... he's not a serious kind of guy that would get bent an punch someone or anything... Panthers Do the Right Thing, Suspend Steve Smith Two Games | Larry Brown Sports
