Patriots defensive back Ross Ventrone, who was waived by the team on Monday, has cleared waivers and has cleared waivers and is headed to the team's injured reserve list. This is according to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss. Ventrone, as you all should remember, is most famous for the many roster transactions he was involved with during last season. He spent time on both the practice squad and the active roster. Amazingly enough, he still has practice squad eligibility.
