Patriots Place RB Shane Vereen On IR/Designated To Return List

    The New England Patriots announced a series of transactions on Tuesday placing running back Shane Vereen on injured reserve with a designation to return, re-signing TE Matthew Mulligan to the active roster and re-signing A.J. Francis to the practice squad. Wide receiver Quentin Sims was released from the practice squad.

    8 weeks ! At least he's only my RB3 but that sucks. Not much out there to replace him. I did pick up Joique from Detroit
