Patriots rookie wide receiver Brandon Tate is likely to start the 2009 campaign on the PUP list as he is recovering from October knee surgery on his ACL and MCL, according to the Boston Globe. If healthy, Tate would not see much action in the Patriots' aerial attack while fighting for playing time behind Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Joey Galloway. His impact as a rookie should be limited to special teams as a return man. Source: RotoTimes.com
I couldn't agree more, I watched every Carolina game up to his injury, and I love this kid. I'm pumped that the Pats drafted this kid, and cant wait to see him in year 3.
Year 3 is typically the year for Receivers to take there game to another level, but with the guys New England have in place, I could easily see him producing next season.
