Pete Carroll Impressed With Seahawks Rookie QB Russell Wilson's First Day Of Practice

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll expected quarterback Russell Wilson to have a handle of the playbook when minicamp opened Friday, and he didn't disappoint. Wilson took every snap during team drills and had a full grasp of his responsibilities. “I don't think he had a missed assignment,â€￾ Carroll said. “He was remarkably sharp for the first day. He took every rep in the walkthrough, or just about it, and every rep today and that all helps him. He was not overloaded at all.â€￾
