Peter King Feels Pat Tillman Doesn't Belong In The Hall Of Fame

The first time I agree with Peter King.

Pretty sure he was the first AZ State player to be names defensive POY. He was really good in college.

Dunno if he was HOF good, but pretty good none-the-less.

 

i agree with most of the sentiments here. you can't put a player in the HOF because of something he did OFF the field. The HOF is very on the field excellence.

Tillman should receive any/all military accollades available for what he did, but not the football HOF.

 

I agree with Peter (he said Peter) King but wouldn't have written about it. It really sucked what happen to him. But the man had conviction. Give up a cushy life and then die by friendly fire. Hall of Fame player no, but Hall of Fame American, for sure. That is what America is about. Making sacrifices so others may have it better.
