Phil Simms, the lead analyst for CBS’ Super Bowl telecast, likes the Dolphins core group of players on both lines and the corners, “That’s a pretty good starting spot,†he said but believes Miami needs playmakers on both sides. “They’ve got to find a few other players to put them over the top. “The NFL is about big plays no matter how you look at it, on both sides of the ball and the Dolphins don’t really create them, on either side so they’ve got to get big playmakers.†Simms said.
