Prosecutors will take more time to determine if they will move forward with assault charges against Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden after he was arrested following a dispute with his live-in girlfriend on Friday. Walden was finally released on a signature bond Monday afternoon following an initial court appearance via teleconference, according to Paul Srubas of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Brown County District Attorney John Zakowski said his office needs more time to consider a charge of “disorderly conduct if not battery†and a hearing was scheduled for Dec. 7. At this point, it’s important to note no charge has been filed against Walden.
