Raiders head coach Tom Cable announced that Darren McFadden will be the starting running back because of his versatility, running and catching during a post-practice press briefing. All three backs will get work, but McFadden will get the "bulk" of the touches. McFadden was limited last year after he suffered an injury to his big toe and he ended the season with 499 yards on 113 attempts, with four touchdowns. Source: Contra Costa Times
