Running back Darren McFadden is practicing today for the second straight day as he steams toward a return from a high-ankle sprain that sidelined him for three games.

McFadden is running around, making cuts, catching passes and looking like the McFadden we saw the first eight games of the season.

Coach Dennis Allen said he is hopeful of McFadden being in good enough condition to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

At this point, there’s no indication that McFadden won’t be healed enough to resume the starting job.

Backup Mike Goodson, who is recovering from a high-ankle sprain, also is at practice for a second straight day.
