Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed visited with the Texans on Friday and left without a deal. Houston is expected to continue negotiations with Reed but don't count Baltimore out.

Mike Garafolo of USA Today reports the Ravens have remained in contact with Reed, according to a person informed of those talks.

The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the negotiations are ongoing, said general manager Ozzie Newsome has remained in contact with Reed's camp throughout his visit to Houston.

Reed had to leave Houston to attend a previously arranged engagement, the person informed of Reed's negotiations said. He will remain in contact with both teams through the weekend.

If the Ravens want him, I don't see why there would be a fight...unless they are low-balling him.
