The Washington Redskins have promoted defensive tackle Chris Baker from the practice squad, Mike Jones of The Washington Post reports. Originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Hampton in 2009, the 6-foot-2, 329-pound Baker appeared in one game for the Broncos as a rookie and another game last season for the Miami Dolphins. Waived by the Dolphins in July, Baker joined the Redskins practice squad at the start of the regular season. Baker will take one of the two roster spots created by the four-game suspensions handed down to tight end Fred Davis and left tackle Trent Williams.
