Australia's Sunday Herald Sun reports that rugby league star Greg Inglis "rejected a secret approach" by the Seattle Seahawks last week. The report comes on the heels of reports that Inglis would leave the NRL (National Rugby League) for the ARL (Australian Rugby League), which several other high-profile players have recently done. Beginning on May 15, Inglis, 23, has been linked to several National Football League teams this off-season, including the Denver Broncos and New York Jets. The 6-5, 238-pound Inglis has been described as a potential kick returner, but tight end/h-back on offense or outside linebacker on defense would appear to be positions better suited for his size, speed, and the positions he's played (centre, fullback, winger) during his rugby career. Seahawks general manager John Schneider has implied that there's not one stone they won't look under when it comes to adding talent to the roster.
