Darren Sproles will not play in Sunday's game the against the Oakland Raiders, Fox Sports Insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer said on Fox's pregame show. The New Orleans Saints running back missed the last two games with a broken hand, but was thought to have a chance to return Sunday. The combination of Chris Ivory, Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas has picked up the slack in Sproles' absence. The Saints (4-5) are in must-win mode after an 0-4 start. The good news: They can probably afford to go without Sproles against the three-win Raiders, who rank No. 24 in the NFL against the pbutt. Source: NFL.com
