Saints interim coach Joe Vitt said third-round draft pick defensive tackle Akiem Hicks may miss the first couple of days of training camp after sustaining a fractured hand in June during organized team activities. Vitt said Hicks could end up starting Thursday's camp on the physically unable to perform list with the ailment. Running back Mark Ingram said at the end of the offseason workout program in June that his scoped left knee would be completely healed when training camp begins. But Vitt said Tuesday that the training staff would monitor Ingram leading to the possibility of Ingram being limited when camp opens Thursday.
