The New Orleans Saints have signed quarterback Luke McCown to a one-year deal according to Darin Gantt of profootballtalk.com. McCown was the backup for Falcons QB Matt Ryan last year but did spend some time with the Saints in training camp. He will likely be the primary backup for Drew Brees now that Chase Daniel has flown the coop to Kansas City. McCown turns 32 in July and has not thrown a pass in the NFL since starting a couple of games for the Jacksonville Jaquars in the 2011 season.
