The New Orleans Saints have signed six players to their practice squad, the team announced on Sunday. Quarterback Ryan Griffin, wide receiver Saalim Hakim, tight end Michael Higgins, fullback Austin Johnson, offensive lineman Marcel Jones and cornerback Jumal Rolle were waived Saturday and signed to the practice squad on Sunday. Griffin, who has been considered a possible practice squad candidate since training camp began, was an undrafted free agent out of Tulane. He began training camp as the fourth quarterback, but moved up to the third team after Seneca Wallace was released.
