Seahawks QB Coach Jedd Fisch Leaving For University Of Miami

  1. Earlier this month, Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks Jedd Fisch accepted the quarterbacks coach/offensive coordinator position at the University of Miami. After the Seahawks fired offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates on Tuesday, and Josh McDaniels accepted the St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator position, they were reportedly attempting to retain Fisch. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, overtures from the Seahawks will not keep Fisch from going to the Hurricanes. Fisch joined Pete Carroll's coaching staff last February after spending one season as the offensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota. With Fisch out of the offensive coordinator picture in Seattle, the focus now shifts to Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn.
