Seahawks, QB Matt Flynn Agree To Terms On A 3-Year, $26M Contract

    Seahawks are going to spend anywhere between $10-12 mil this year to see if they like what Flynn has to offer. No draft picks given up, no players given up.

    Cardinals spent ~$12 mil on Kolb last year, ~$10.5 mil this year, a 2nd rounder, and DRC who was a Pro Bowl cornerback in Arizona.


    For as hot a commodity as Flynn was (or at least was talked about leading up to free agency), the Seahawks get to kick the tires on Flynn for a year or two for damn near nothing.

    Agreed. This deal, considering a starting qb's salary, is a far cry from overpaying him. That's not much more than the Titans ended up giving Hasselbeck, a vet.
