The Seattle Seahawks have activated second-year running back Robert Turbin from the active/PUP list according to John Boyle of the Everett Herald. Turbin had missed about a week of camp after being plagued with foot soreness since the end of the offseason program. In the meantime rookie Christine Michael has been putting on a show in Seahawks camp. Head coach Pete Carroll is a strong proponent of the "best competitor will play" theory so Turbin desperately needs to get himself back onto the practice field. Michele has the reputation of being difficult to motivate but from a purely physical standpoint he has a sizable edge in talent over Turbin in the battle to back up veteran Marshawn Lynch.
