Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was held out of practice on Wednesday and appears unlikely to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports. Johnson has missed five games after undergoing surgery on his right hamstring and with the Texans off next week, there appears to be little reason to rush him back for this Sunday. "There's still a possibility," Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said of Johnson playing this Sunday. "He's on schedule. Everything's going well, but it'll be a weekend decision again." After losing their first two games without Johnson, the Texans have three straight games and have a two-game lead on the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South.
